That's got your attention hasn't it. Whilst waiting at the sheep food mill I was stood about 3m behind the car and noticed a design feature. When looking down the side the front and rear window frame stanchions on the drivers and passenger doors are at different angles . This means that the glass has to pre twisted to fit , and slide up and down the recesses / grooves . Checking out other cars in the car park and not many did that , opting for curved but un-twisted glass. Maybe that's a reason for some wind noise which seems to come from the higher portion of the frame if the glass and corresponding frame twists are slightly mis aligned or need slightly bigger clearance gaps/tolerances. Replacement glass may also come with a premium price tag?
Not sure if the same thing occurs on the BYD Dolphin but the MG designers appear to have done it on porpoise. Boom, Boom.
