It was a five minute fix for me 😉

What?

You're saying you had vibrations through the car/steering wheel, and what you did cured the problem?

And anyway, you don't drive an X Power so are very unlikely to have the same problem as some of our early cars.

The fix you're describing is well known to fix the rattle from the tailgate, but not the vibrations on early X Power due to manufacturing and/or quality control issues.

Had the Pilot Sport 5’s for a couple months now?

245’s as well,

Absolutely excellent - the grip is insane.

I feel a little more confident going around corners, even though the car cannot be pushed too hard in tight bends.

I was going to go the 245s but with the vibration issue didn’t want to give MG any reason to knock back the fix..

July I’ll get the car lowered and next tyre change will be pilot sport 5s 245 as I really think the car needs wider tyres the 235s are just a little narrow for the grunt ..

Mind you currently the 235 pilot sport 5s are doing okay had them on for about 4 to 5 months now but are noticeably getting worse in wet conditions it doesn’t stick as well on take off ..

Mind you they are holding better than I thought for shoving 320kw and 600nm though them at the lights regularly..
🤣🤣
