I can’t be the only one waiting for this. I thought it might be useful to have a dedicated thread for news and discussion now it has an official UK name at least. I’ll try and collate the salient points from the various threads later in the day. I’m torn between wanting a unique colour for it...

Hahaha - Someone needs to teach them what all wheel drive means. I think you will find the picture shows rear wheel drive only and no motor on the front wheels

Yeah I think there might be a few performance hungry people with buyer remorse. I heard about the rumour on the reviews early on and held off. It’s been killing me seeing people raving about the MG4 but hopefully my patience will be rewarded ?

Not that the regular one isn’t plenty nippy enough TBH, it’s just that overkill is underrated ?

If I was 20 years younger... (and still working). I knew it was coming and I even mentioned it to my dealer, who tried to persuade me to treat myself! But all the stars and constellations aligned in the first two weeks of April to convince me that the universe wanted me to have a blue SE SR, and it's all working out fine.

It has the acceleration where I want it, that is from slow speeds. I notice it doesn't quite have the same oomph if it's already going fast, but really, I don't need that. Enjoy your X-powers, young people, as I enjoyed my XR2 thirty years ago.
