MG5 2022 no aircon

My MG 5 pre face-lift has no aircon. Dealers have looked at it, state all parts working but not talking to each other. Been told waiting for MG technical to get back to them.
Looks like a hot summer this year without A.C.

Are they saying the compressor isn't reacting to a start command?

Hi Alb.
Not sure all they said was all sensors are correctly reporting.the vehicle isn't taking any power when aircon switch on. I suspect what your saying, but they want MG technical to confirm what they either have to do or let them make the decision to replace an item.

My background is a diagnostic tech, but I won't touch the vehicle until its out of warranty. The other problem is I need wiring diagram and values to confirm fault.

Hardware diagnosis is relatively easy but software diagnosis tends to rely of proprietary programmers.

Ok this vehicle went in today for a new compressor, came out not working again.
Problem is on fuse 36 engine compartment the fuse is blown for the aircon and the voltage on one side is 14v switched on, and on the other side there's 5.3v.
So now waiting for the parts cannon to keep going.

Update on no aircon.

Under fuse box a bolt had rubbed through a wire

That's what I was told when picking up the car.

I did look at my MG5 before it went for repairs the second time. The 5amp fuse had blown, under bonnet fuse box, so checked the voltages.

14v on one side vehicle switched on
5.3v on otherside.

Once I informed dealer, they put me in a courtesy car immediately.

All good now on the aircon. Just need to look into EHB fault. Part of the stability program on the car. Was told wrong voltage poss low battery brought it up. They said its cleared down on their computer.
But checked it at home on Autel 808 and it was still there.
That was 2 weeks ago. Not had time to look, holidays are here ?
