No. Ultra confusingly, the MG5 is some sort of petrol-only sedan in Australia.

Ah, I didn't look to closely, I thought it may be a saloon version of the European 5 estate.

It's the petrol Rowe i5 with an MG badge from best I can tell. They usually adapt them to the target market, guess not so much here.

Some of the safety ratings these days are heavily skewed to driver aids rather than physical collision protection. Looks like the Aussies still do both at least.
