Just after some advice/maybe support?
My lovely MG5 had a failure to charge from home on 24th February. I’ll cut a long story short, after a 2 week wait for an appointment at Drive MG dealer, it was diagnosed as a combined charger unit fault, which needs replacing. It will charge on their fast charger at Drive but not our home charger, or the local public fast charger . The car is in warranty despite being a 2021 plate. I understand that MG do drag their feet, but it is getting silly now. They say they are wating for MG to authorise the repair under warranty due to the value , but it has been nearly 4 weeks. I have been borrowing a car since my car broke down but that isn’t possible to continue….. Drive tried to arrange a courtesy car twice last week , but it was turned (they say they aren’t told the reason). I am starting to really stressed by all of this. The Lady I deal with at Drive is very pleasant, very apologetic but I can tell she has no say/ power over what is happening. What can I do ? Is there someone actually at MG I can speak to ? Any advice appreciated.
