MG5 cruise control blinking and not working *FIXED*

I had some trouble on the road with the cruise control not working it was blinking on and off and i would love to share the solution.

1- make sure the boot is closed well
2 - turn off your car and unplug your car battery and plug it back on, it should work back on

It's a pain if it doesn't shut properly as often the button won't then open it, and you have to try and push down on the boot lid first, so you open it and try again at shutting it.
