I saw a red S5 (75 plate) in Tenterden on Monday morning - I'm really surprised we don't see more, the S5 does seem to be passed over in any mid-range family EV discussion, especially in the usual EV YouTube outlets who are obsessed with the Skoda EVs at the moment.

Agree. It's still probably a bit of badge snobbery. Not realising how good and what good value for money the MGS5 is.
To be fair it still happens to a certain extent with Skôda. Anyway there loss.

I saw a red S5 75 plate in Headcorn last weekend. Wonder if its the same one

Had our car for about a month now and NOT seen another S5's in the wild.
Then yesterday, I was approaching junction in our small village and a blue one crossed straight in front of us !!!!.
I mean, what is the chances of that ! .
When we bought our 1st ZS EV back in 2018/19 we went for about 6 months before we spotted the first one out on the road, the driver flashed their headlights at us.
They must have been on the look out also.

They do take "inspiration" from VW nudge nudge.

The day after I bought mine and before I took delivery, I saw one in Bromley and I thought "common as muck".

I haven't seen one since.

I shall be driving the length and breadth of Kent on Tuesday - East Grinstead, Hartfield, Staplehurst, Brasted, Biggin Hill - so if the Headcorn/Tenterden contingent want to make a flask of tea and get out their deckchairs and blankets and wait, they may be lucky...

I thought I saw one but it was another make. The MGS5 isn't as easy to spot as the MG4

I crossed paths with a white one yesterday when we were going on the A285 from Halnaker towards the A27. First one I've seen around home since I got the car in August.

I must be on a roll spotted another in Padstow last night in Camden grey, has to be the best colour…. Had a quick chat with the driver, nice chap.
