When cleaning the MG ZS Hybrid+ wheels, is it possible to inch the car forward (without a driver) just a few inches to reposition them?

Whilst we are not fond of our new 1 yr old Hybrid+, we like to keep it looking smart. Hubby thinks the wheels are a right pain to clean and wonders how he can manoeuvre the car (without having to call me to drive it) just a few inches each time during a wash to reposition the wheels for easier cleaning.

On our old manual Xsara picasso you just let the handbrake off and pushed a bit :)

I like to do the same when I'm cleaning my wheels, and I don't know if you can do it with the ZS, but with my MG4 I put it into Neutral and push it forwards/backwards half a wheel, I have to reach my leg in and apply the footbrake, but it saves having to sit in and drive to move it.

Thanks gave it a try. Was quite amusing seeing hubby pretending to be a contortionist (he's a non driver and not that agile at 82). It gave me a laugh and something else for him to rant about the MG. 😁

Sort of, even with me in the car having put in N the car only moved perhaps a quarter wheel turn when pushed from outside then locked up. Maybe a safety feature.
