It will be one year im October the i picked up my MG4 Ultra from the main dealers, after taking advantage of a salary sacrafice scheme through the company I work for.
I had done some research and had settled on the MG Trophy has it had a really good range which would be useful has i have a 50mile commute 7 days a week , so range was a massive part of my thought process.
But when the scheme went live i had a rush of blood and opted for the MG 4 Ultra, this of course has a lesser range and in the midst of winter when EV s range are lesd any way I admit that i was regretting my decision.
But one year on I have no regrets , it has it niggles but in the main its like the Starship Enterprise on wheels, warp speed power when i need it and the rest of the time i customise the settings to give me more range.
I charge at home cheapley and my company had promised charging at work but so far they have renaged on their promise which is dissapointing.

All so disapointing is the delay by Goverment and other bodies to truely embrace the EV era the half glass aproach is embarssing compared to what i have seen in other European countrys.

I’m coming up to 2 years with my X power. Love the car. Have cheap charging now. It’s been reliable and is the easiest car I’ve ever owned to drive. Reversing is a joy. Steep drive at night is easy. My niggles, the software. Hate LKA constantly re appearing and having to be removed every time I get out of the seat. The bluetooth connection is very poor. I just plug in and use car play. Watch out for collision assist slamming on the brakes when squeezing through a gap!
