While reading on the MG EV Facebook page , I came across the mention of the needtocharge app. In theory this is a good idea but in reality it’s only good if members sign up to it, how many of us are using this? I’m on the edge if I should sign up to this or not

It sounds like a good idea but everyone has to be on it for it to work well.

Not much to lose by signing up - sadly the people you’re likely to want to be able to contact are the type that won’t even consider doing so, but you never know when it’ll be useful.

I like the idea that you can grab a wee print out for your car with the QR code on, only really worth doing if other drivers are doing the same

I've been signed up and displaying the logo at front and back if my EV for over a year now - never have I been "pinged". It is a great idea but (sadly) requires massive adoption for it to be useful.

The shifts I've been on the last few weeks, I've been skulking about at daft am trying to find a working charger...I've not seen anyone else on charge to check ??‍ Haven't seen anything on the chargers though.

Yes
