Was looking at the Pogo charger map and spotted a new one, that's about halfway between Inverness and Aviemore on the A9 so it's another welcome stop to fill in the gaps.
The map says that charger is a 22kW one. No mention of a 100kW charger at Tomatin; it's at Culbokie, north of Inverness, not far from the A9 bridge over the Cromarty Firth. Was looking at the Pogo charger map and spotted a new one, that's about halfway between Inverness and Aviemore on the A9 so it's another welcome stop to fill in the gaps.
Excellent pizza. They also have another outlet in Aviemore...On arriving at Inverness I suggest a Pizza at the pleasingly named Cheese & Tomatin C and T Inverness Pizza | Wood Fired Pizza in Inverness
I just like the place and the association was too much to resist.
If you zoom in on the map you'll see the 2nd one, 2 x 100kW. I've used the one at Culbokie, it's 150kWThe map says that charger is a 22kW one. No mention of a 100kW charger at Tomatin; it's at Culbokie, north of Inverness, not far from the A9 bridge over the Cromarty Firth.
I stand corrected. I've never used either, both are too close to home to bother. If you zoom in on the map you'll see the 2nd one, 2 x 100kw. I've used the one at Culbokie, it's 150kw![]()
It certainly is. That is good to know. I'll visit it next time I am there.Excellent pizza. They also have another outlet in Aviemore...
Are they? That would be most inconvenient as I have two Inverness trips scheduled for next year.It could be very handy if they're kicking us off the Inverness Teslas.
What if you’ve paid for the year with Tesla ?That's what seems to be the consequence of the regulations about public chargers having to take ordinary bank cards. These can't, so Tesla isn't allowed to make them public after 24th November.
Presumably they'll say that only the version 3 chargers are affected, and you can still make use of the sites that have version 4 chargers (the ones without the hole). What if you’ve paid for the year with Tesla ?
I hear Arnold Clarke is launching a scheme of chargers which are / will be pretty cheap too.It will be interesting to see what happens. Porsche have already restricted their chargers to their own cars.
