Just received my new car number plate that was originally a 72 plate but the dealer changed this as I asked if I could wait a week.

1 more week in the world of MG I thought not a problem

My new plate is

MG23.. V

Not a bad number plate me thinks

Many thanks for your reply

Hi
Sorry to bother you I have a daughter called Poppy-Mae and seen the website you sent me replyed with and was wondering how easy is it to buy one a REG for one and 2 is there any more costs involved

Simon

Private number plate\cherished number plate do come at a cost as cheap as £65 to £?????+
It's very easy to do 1st place to look is the DVLA website or somewhere like
Once you have one it's very easy to take off the car and on a bit of paper (retention) or transfer to another vehicle (£80 ish) but you can never make car younger but you can get dateless plates ie Northern Ireland for use in uk

Many thanks once again for your information.
I have seen from your link some quite cheap plates with poppy in them in a sense of letters and numbers that is around 140.00 what I don't understand is that one of payment is the number plate yours to keep then as next to it is pricing PM.
So buy a plate outright
Does the company send you the plate then and I have to register it with DVLA?

Sorry about the questions very tempted as my daughters name comes out well on a number plate were I have seen some that I know are private but working them out is a bit weird but POPPY is quite a good one.

She's my only daughter and I have shared custody of her so it would be great to do as my daughter has chosen the colours to my last 2 vehicles.

Again apologies

Simon

This site, one of many, explains the process Buy Private Number Plates | Regtransfers

As an example, PP10 PPY will set you back £4245 plus fees 🫣
I did see that one myself at that price lol...
No chance the car was enough...

Hi what a great idea never thought of it that way....
So daddy learns her to drive pays for her driving lessons that I would never pass now in my day it was a half hour test at 8.00 a lesson lol...

Am sure I could do something like this thank you so much..

Either poppy or Spine after my spinal operations 😂😂
