Can I please ask when picking up new vehicles what % charge did you get at handover ?

Depends on the dealer. They normally charge it to 100%. You could also request them to do so couple of days before picking up if thats what you want.

Usually they charge it to 100% on arrival to them and what you get is what's remaining after it has been moved about their premises for checks and valeting

Not all dealers will leave it at 100% which may be a good thing as the battery shouldn't sit fully charged

Like not MOTing until a car is sold, or fixing anything that needs fixing unless a sale depends on it etc etc

It would have to be left at 100% for a couple of weeks for it to be a potential problem. I suspect most dealers would rather not have it on the premises for that long.

Some dealers are seriously limited for charging capacity. I can see why many are going out 90-95% - it was fully charged for pdi but has then been shuffled around/Road tested and not back on a charger for top-off
