New Facelift?

Just came across this video and I think the interior looks pretty good. Curios to see what they do with the higher trims as this seems to be a comfort model.

That does look nice, might be a bit more comfortable for those who have their knees planted against the shelf in the current model.

The only disadvantage is that you seem to lose the sliding cover storage area - something I tend to use.

I saw that a few weeks ago. Interior looks so so much better

Nice changes. Like the new dash, centre console and steering wheel. LED interior light. Even small changes like the Silver, window switches look good, just lifts the cabin a bit. Also the Green EV badge looks good. All in all, pretty good, don't think the exterior needed much, to be honest. Also doesn't the Silver, suit the MG4 shape. Be nice if the UK got that.

Silver does look nice and it looks better now they have a different spoiler section on the tailgate for the SE model that looked a bit naff with the twin spoilers not there.

Improved steering column stalks. Looks like they've addressed the issue where you accidently turn the headlights off going from full to dipped beam.

Looking through the tech specs on the same site it looks like both the comfort and luxury spec cars get a 64kWh LFP battery with around 290 miles range, and the X Power has a 64kWh NMC battery with a 251mile range.

Autoexpress have just posted this about the MG4 face-lift in Brazil, with reference to it being what the UK will get later in the year. In the meantime the similarly named MG4 Urban (the FWD new Chinese version) will be in showrooms February to confuse things further.

Although in the images the XP doesnt show the slightly new headlights as per the brazilian video.

I went to Bristol North MG this morning for the service and mot and I asked when the facelift version of the MG4 was going to be available. And I was a bit surprised when I was told that it wouldn't be coming to England. And that production of the current MG4 was going to be replaced by the new version.

Yes, Germany part of the EU (different market) and driving on the right like virtually the whole of the rest of the EU, both different from oddball UK in Europe.

As I said in my comment above, " like virtually the whole of the rest of the EU" which covers the exceptions of Cyprus and Malta. I would much prefer left hand drive in Cyprus as it would mean we could easily import 2nd hand cars from any of the other 25 LHD member nations, tax and import duty free. However, we only plan to stay here for another 3-4 years, too many other fantastic countries to experience living in, all LHD with exception to the US which is on our blacklist

Didn't know that. And can certainly see why that was tricky, at the time. But obviously that rarely happens. And you get used to driving on which ever side your Country drives, on. No doubt it would be chaos, if we suddenly changed overnight.

Ireland are planning to make this same change ... cars will switch first, and trucks will switch the following night.
