Some cars have clear compromises when built as RHD because they're designed as LHD (vast majority of world market) and then mods are made to the design for RHD production. A good example was my RHD Porsche 993 (911) turbo. The pedals were offset to the left in the footwell which weren't offset to the right on the LHD models. It was clearly felt when driving. In various countries , I've driven RHD on the left side of the road, RHD on the right side of the road, LHD on the right and LHD on the left side of the road. Out of all those combinations, the most prefferable was LHD on the right side of the road (continental Europe), just felt far more natural even though I was brought up driving in the UK for many years.
