New Facelift?

Obviously Affinity is greater for cash buyers. And not great for dealer finance because of the much higher interest rates.

But, does it ever make sense to buy on Affinity and arrange your own finance independently? Or is that always a losing proposition? Just curious if anyone has done this.

Got to be better with the big savings and sorting your own finance.

Even at the great discount for cash .... nah, not until they can offer some sort of reassurance about that cast rear end, I'll be holding on to my pressed metal spot welded outdated model, with a much lower insurance premium .....

Have I missed something? Isn’t the chassis exactly the same?

I thought it was the IMs with a die cast chassis.

That is a video of the IMs being built and the subsequent discussion of why they might be a higher insurance rating due to their inability to be repaired.

Someone was referencing how a pre-reg standard IM5 is now roughly the same price as an MG4 Premium and showcased that video as a reason why the IMs are possibly so cheap.

I’m almost certain the chassis is untouched on the MG4 facelift.

Now I'll have to wait for them to land in Australia to have a look ....
