Found this on you tube last night looks very much like the Zappi or could it be even better and perhaps a little cheaper but don’t think it can do solar like zappi can but if you have no solar might be good for you
The guy in the video is from Artistan Electric is name is Jordan and there’s loads of great stuff on his YT channel very interesting

I have been following this chap Jordan on His YT channel for quite a while now he’s very very good, and up until this video his main choice of EV charger appears to have been the zappi for most jobs for all its capabilities quality and service but he seems well impressed with this new one from Hypervolt I wonder if he’s decided this might be a better option I myself got the zappi after watching one of is videos about it as I have solar PV but is this better Jordan ?

I’m having a Hypervolt Home 2 charger fitted for my just collected ZS EV They seem to be on the ball and installation should be within a few weeks or so. All paperwork for grant sorted by them.

Sounds good to me as there has been problems

Hypervolt are working on a wall box that can deal with solar panels also.
According to Jordan, it’s release is not fare away !.
I have a Rolec unit myself, but the Hypervolt unit would be my preferred choice now.
The reliably of these units are still to be proven of course, but they must be better than the Rolec units surely !.
Rolec needs to improve the quality of the basic components inside of there units.
The RCBO’s are just not up to the job.
They need to improve and quickly, or they will be avoided like the plague by EV owners.
Reliability has to come first over anything else in my opinion.
