New Map 23Q4: Unable to install MD5 verification failure[Solved]

Thank you so much to those who went before on this....deleting the 2 files solved it and my MG5 now has up to date maps! In fact so up to date that it has a new road on it.....that should have been finished by now (classic government project!) but isn't!!

Fantastic, even though i would hardly consider maps from november 2023 "up to date" in March of 2025.

Went to my local MG Dealership for my annual service and asked if they would do the map updates (like they did last year for free). Was told there would be a £125 charge for this!! Fortunately, this forum has saved my sanity. In addition to the aforementioned tips, my problem was that when I inserted my USB stick containing the maps folder (less the two files causing the issues), and went to Settings - System - Map Updates , and clicked 'Ok' at the next message which took me to a menu with three (unselectable) menu options, I just didn't wait a few minutes for the menu to update. I'm so used to things being 'instant'. Having waited several minutes and then checked the options again, all proceeded (slowly) to the system being successfully updated. Perhaps if the official 'Map Update' pdf had explained this, I wouldn't have wasted unnecessary hours of my time. I was beginning to thing it was some sort of ruse by MG so end users would get frustrated and get their dealerships to do the update at £125

I was told by my dealer that they don't update the maps, only the car software

Am have update R24 In Car and cant update to R25 or more ..
Am have downloadet Last map update but cant pass MD5 .. are the some i can do ? or must am go to car dealer ?
Hi . have read in her find out to remove 2 file and car update now this was grat
I've deleted the file_verification and the VN.txt files and now the upgrade passed the MD5 check and started the copy process!
