New MG2 ? ? ?

Let's hope it isn't ex power, but rather a quick nimble EV with decent range ....

If the price down here is good enough, it might be the replacement towed vehicle behind the motorhome

Based on who it will probably be aimed at. It will be a nippy, nimble, decent range hatchback.
But an X Power version would be nice, for those that want it. Although unfortunately can't see that happening. 🙂👍

With two motors, a good hard launch and you have to roll to the next fast charger, that's about all the battery capacity you could fit in such a compact car ...

How do you tow an EV? Does it have to go on a trailer? Or with only the non-drive wheels on the road?
On a tailer, I tried to put the MG4 on the Gypsy trailer, bum up .... there is no steering lock, so that would need to be addressed at the steering rack, before the torque sensor and electronics .... no idea what that would do to the rack where the electric motor meshes with it .... I can't imagine it would be ok with that sort of punishment, nor would the pinion that engages with the rack, that is not designed for load, the electric motor provides the drive that handles the load, the rack and pinion is only there for driver feel.
The MG4 looks very ungainly with its bum in the air, and I can't imagine the bumper would be still attached after a few steep driveway or ferry entry/exits when the water level is low ......
All that meant I had to modify a trailer to fit the MG4 wheel base and sill rail width .... in hindsight, I should have just paid to have one built .... but hindsight can be like that at times .....
