the recess is roughly 70cm x 60cm and more than 20cm deep. My dog wasn't letting me take the measurements properly

Thr tyres are 64cm in diameter (if i did the maths correctly)

So i think a spare wheel might be a bit of a tight fit even if deflated. i will have to take the measurements down again.

Maybe that's what the slight recess is for at the back, to give that extra inch for the spare to fit.

My MG4 (non Urban) spacer saver is 70cm diameter, so is my BYD Atto3 space saver.

So ideally want a 70cm x 70cm x 15cm space available

Photo below of how I secure my MG4 space saver, using threaded eye bolts. I put the moveable floor on top and it all looks neat. I use the threaded screws there for the foam insert with tyre repair kid - which is no longer required if you have a spare tyre.

Does MG4 Urban have things to tie-down a tyre like I've done below?

Hooks on the side for example?

If no space in the underboot area, what about space for a spare tyre here? Does it have over 15cm available height?

And can the moveable floor be put on top to hide the spare tyre? Needs over 15cm

And are there tie-down points on the side to hold a tyre here? Any kind of threaded screws available?
