New Owner Cruise Control on MG4 Trophy LR

Hi newbie im struggling to figure out how to put car into cruise control on motorway. Ive looked at Youtube vids read manual still perplexed. My previous motor simply drive at speed you want press button and it kept you at that speed till you pressed brake. MG4 unsure how to do? Any help appreciated

You press the little steering wheel symbol on the left hand side of the steering wheel to turn cruise control on, the symbol in the top left of your driver’s screw should then turn green with the speed indicated

But ... you first need to set the Drive Assist System in the MG Pilot menu to ACC - or TJA if you want the car to also assist with steering. (MG Pilot is found under the Car icon at the bottom right).

On the steering wheel press the middle button with the "steering wheel" icon on it.

Then use the toggle switch up and down to adjust the speed.

Also use the toggle sideways to adjust the distance maintained behind the vehicle in front of you. Short up and down changes speed by 1mph or 5mph for long press - depending on the system version installaed
