New owner first thoughts... + Interior led strips pictures

Just picked up my black MG ZS standard range today.

So far quite impressed with the build and quality, I like the fact this car drives very similarly to ICE cars which means very easy to get used to.

I have ready installed the sun roof LED strip as I could not stand a dark cabin at night. The result came out ok, looks nice when blinds are closed, like OEM finish but with the curtain open, you can see the roof reflection of the light strip which is less ideal.

Secondly I have installed another led strip along the front driver and passenger footwell, powered by the OBD port. I think this came out quite nice.

I forgot to take photos, but once I do, I will post them up.

I have a question regarding the rear number plate lights though. I'm surprised by the manual suggesting the rear bumper needed to be dismantled to gain access? Is this true? Does anyone have a guide please?

Unfortunately I can't answer that un till I get the car sorry but that would be my guess looking at pictures in manual bumper looks attached still?

My current car has blue LEDs all round the (non-opening) glass roof - I am quite disappointed that the ZS doesn’t have something similar. It’s not anything I would be able to install. Guess no disco for me!!
