New owner of MG HS PHEV Essence, some queries re AM radio reception

Hi - I've just moved from a hybrid to the MG HS PHEV Essence, not quite ready to go all electric yet! I bought a demo model so very low kms and in very good condition. I've only had it for a week so I'm still getting used to things. I have a query though; the AM radio is not clear at all - very hissy on the major roads. Is there a way to fine tune this? thanks
