News on delivery of first Batch of IM6

Grey and grey, wasn't sure about the gold highlights on the lighter interior but each to their own 😀

Did you have to chase Vertu for that, or was it offered as an update?

Nice, yeah looking forward to it arriving! Thought about postponing until 1 April to avoid the luxury car tax but don't think I'll bother now.

I had an email back in October from a chap at Vertu with an estimated date so just emailed him back direct, replied next day 👍

I wasn't sure how it worked ref the luxury car tax - if it actually reduced the monthly payment by much or not at all... I wonder

No luxury car tax on EVs below £50k, includes cars bought prior to April 26
 
I ordered a IM6 LR through NHS Fleet Solutions at the beginning of October and was advised Feb for delivery.

Asked Vertu for an update and received this email today:

Yes, tracking data on the vehicle suggests it is due to land at the port on 7th February.

We need to factor in the pre delivery inspection and of course delivery lead times.

But based on that I’d say mid to late February for delivery.

Hopefully yours is on the same ship!

Like Oliver, I emailed Vertu directly on Monday morning and have yet to receive a response from them so (maybe I am grumpy being in the middle of a set of nights 🫣) I am not overly impressed by the lack of feedback from them and that makes me wonder if I have an issue with the car how responsive they will be!

I don’t think the delivery process and any future report should be considered as equal. I have had good responses from MG Customer services when I have asked questions and so far (albeit its not been long!) my dealer has been great.

Still no response... Standing strong and waiting until Monday before I chase again...

Sadly not had a response from them, so a bit disappointed in the lack of a reply and/or update.

I will see what today brings and will try and give them a nudge, but if no joy will consider my options as there are plenty of other manufacturers and cars through the fleet that have quick turnarounds.

Is it Ben you're emailing? I've noticed he's been the Vertu contact for a few people.
 
I’m still being told “late March” for my company lease order confirmed 9th Dec via ALD for Blue LR with grey interior.

I’m sceptical based on experience of getting my 5 last time. Took 6 months even though garages were awash with them.
