Noise when turning on steering full lock

I have noticed on my SR a noise when cornering or going round a roundabout.
Seems to happen when turn the steering wheel a lot, like a grinding sound but stops when you start to straighten the steering wheel.

Same here, particularly when turning in reverse for some reason.

It's not the same as the rear brake squeal when I reverse out the drive in the morning

I get the grinding though, it's loudest when I turn into the road as I'm reversing out of the drive.

Could be a wheel bearing.
You can check for play yourself or refer it to your dealer.

It had a 15k service two weeks ago and wasn't picked up then but they did say that there isn't a fix for the squeal when reversing either.

Do you get the noise when stationary then? If so, it wouldn't point to the wheel bearings.
