Locking the car and still having a bluetooh connecion to he obd2 kicks off the alarm. Annoying as hell. Thinking of having a relay to switch obd2 of or on auomaically.

Someone else posted elsewhere here that they fitted an OBD11 extension cable with integrated On/Off switch, so they could leave the dongle connected but powered down when they left the car. It was a manual switch rather than a relay or other automated method.

I bought this one from AliExpress, I can switch it on/off but even if I forget, it doesn't set the alarm off

Everyone of those i have used in the past never worked. What apps are u using with it. Carscanner and ABRP both trig the alarm. I have a veepeak BT+
I use ABRP, it works really well and the OBD on/off button stops the alarm going off...along as you remember.

I've done that. And as long as I remember to switch it off, it resolved the problem
