OBD2 Scanner Recommendations for MG HS PHEV

Hi guys,

I’m looking to buy a reliable OBD2 scanner for my MG and wanted to get some recommendations from the community. Mainly need it for reading/clearing fault codes and checking live data.


If anyone can suggest a good Bluetooth or handheld scanner that works well with MG cars, that would be great.

I've got a Vlinker for my MG4 it works well but the electric data is overwhelmed by the ICE stuff.
It does work OK with the ABRP app, to work with SOC on the route planner.

I use the free version of Car Scanner (Android).
