Ohme Home Pro charger MG4 Ismart.

I have an mg4 and an ohme home pro charger.
I have the ohme app set to charge when the rate is less than 15p/kwh. (The rate is either going to be 10p or about 30p so you just use a number in between. I set it to do a full 100% charge every time. (Don't panic, read on).
I have the mg ismart app set for a maximum charge of 80%. Lithium batteries don't like being charged to 100% every time so only set it to 100% when you know you're going on a long run. Otherwise stick to the 80/20 rule and keep the battery between those two figures.
I plug the car in whenever I like and lock it.
When the tariff drops to the cheap rate it starts to charge.
Iif it reaches 80% it will shut down the charging through the mg app.
If the cheap tariff ends it will shut down charging through the ohme app.
I haven't had to touch it for weeks. Literally, just come home, plug in, lock the car abd it'r ready to go in the morning.

Just to be clear, it's NMC batteries that don't like to be charged to 100% (and then left sitting like that for a long time) on a regular basis.

LFP batteries are absolutely fine about it, SR owners need to remember this.
