Paintwork fault

Hi folks, we picked up our car on Saturday, and I noticed this morning that there's some patches of paintwork on the front bumper that appear 'smudged' or 'flat'. In fairness, the weather's been attrocious on the west coast of Scotland and today's been the first dry morning. I happened to arrive home from walking the dog at the same time as my wife got back from dropping the kids at school, and we both noticed it at the same time.

I've emailed the dealer with the images, but wondered if anyone else has had anything similar?

It looks as if the lacquer hasn't adhered to the basecoat.

The driver's door in the first picture is certainly a different shade to the rest of the car.

Maybe because the door is open.

wondered if anyone else has had anything similar?

Not quite the same, but this person had peeling paint on the bumper that took 18 months to resolve see...

I've recently spotted paint peeling off the front bumper. One patch near the headlight is pretty obvious, the other is a little more subtle and linear in nature. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this? I'd welcome opinions as to the likely best remedy to ask for ie would a dealer be able to touch up to completely repair?

Yes, it was raining, snowing and or hailing at the time of collection!
