Not on my 2022 ZS EV. That may be for larger and commercial vehicles only, not sure

But atleast the higher spec models with blind spot detection have the radars in the back that would detect and brake if it saw an obstacle like a pedestrian.

Yes, Trophy model got rear/side radars and that works - the other day beeped when I reversed and a pedestrian was about 2m away, approaching from the side. I don't know if that works when a pedestrian is right behind the car... I guess parking sensors would pick that up. Also, I don't know if the car brakes when the rear/side pedestrian warning comes on (my guess is not) as I slammed the brakes as soon as I heard the warning sound. It also warns of cars approaching from the sides when reversing.
