I've realized, as winter about to start in my area, my car keep petrol engine on for heating of the interior space, I feel like rather freezing just to save some petrol
The engine at starts or without moving a car has 1400rpm, consuming more than a normal petrol engine which usually has 800rpm at standby.
What I'm curious at most how other users experience with the automatic gearchange on petrol engine. As my experience around 80km/h (50mph) it changes to secound gear, so basically its going in "first gear" till that speedlimit.
Can you please share your experiences?
Also driving on highway at a speed of 130km/h (80mph) my consumtion is around 8l/100km (30mpg).
