Phone needs to be synced each time

Hi all,

I’m having to pair and sync my iPhone every time I get into the car. I’ve been back to the garage and they did an update, it wasn’t connecting at all at one stage . I’ve had it back to the garage 3 times in less than 2 months for a few issues.
I’ve an iPhone 12.
No problem connecting to my husband car and it stays connected.

Anyone else having issues with this ?

What car? Trophy or SE? It seems to be reported only on Trophy usually.

In Ireland it’s referred to as the exclusive long range, which I believe is the trophy range in the uk.

Mine does the same on a trophy with both mine and the wifes phone its crap. Previous cars connect without issue and you can have 2 connected at once. Mines going in for emergency breaking again and i have asked to look at the bluetooth issue, screen going blank on start due to the recent update and digital key.

I understand this is improved with infotainment version R46, but it doesn't look like there's a total fix yet.

Yes I have the same problem with my mg4 have to keep pairing the phone it does your head in

Headed back to my garage today. Really unhappy with the mg4. 4 trips back in less than 2 months. After waiting so long for it , it’s turned out to be a big disappointment.
