PID's for Torque Pro app

The *- 1 is there's to show charging as a positive value and discharging as a negative value.

What do you mean by Battery Power Sensor? Do you mean the State of Charge of the battery, if so then its the SOC display.

Battery Power sensor shows the kW of the battery that powers the electric motor.

Battery Power = Battery Voltage * Battery Current

When regen braking the current value is negative so the battery power value is negative, that's why I deleted the *-1 from the equation, I don't use charging/discharging values.

@Fluffykins if you have a MG5 can you please try the file for the ZS EV and let me know which PIDs work?

I've never worked with Torque or OBD-II PIDs previously so it took a bit of fiddling but I've now got a set of PIDs for Torque Pro which work with my MG ZS EV saved at:

This would not have been possible without the excellent reverse engineering work done by the OVMS community.
Hello, I'm new on this forum so hello everyone.
I've tried those pid's on MarvelR (luxury version, so RWD).
That looks great!

and I can confirm my new findings about gear selector and driving mode:
lever position=7 for Reverse, 6 for Neutral, 5 for Drive (so far it was only mentionned 8 is for Park)
drive mode = 0 for Winter&ECO, 1 for Normal, 2 for Sport

However, I'm still looking for the speed and torque for the secondary motor on rear axle.
So anybody has the codes for this secondary motor?
thx

I tried several codes, (checking requests beside 22B3FF & 22B400, answer 1st-2nd byte or 3rd-4th byte ) but did not find anything satisfactory yet:
"MG Motor Speed Actual2","RPM2","0x22b3ff","INT16(a:b)-32767",-1000,10000,"rpm","7E3","","",1"
"MG Motor Torque2","Motor Torque2","0x22b400","(INT16(a:b)-32767)/10",-100,360,"Nm","7E3","","",1"
"MG Motor Speed Actual2b","RPM2b","0x22b3ff","INT16(c:d)-32767",-1000,10000,"rpm","7E3","","",1"
"MG Motor Torque2b","Motor Torque2b","0x22b400","(INT16(c:d)-32767)/10",-100,360,"Nm","7E3","","",1"
neither on :
"MG Motor Speed Actual2","RPM2","0x22b403","INT16(a:b)-32767",-1000,10000,"rpm","7E3","","",1"
"MG Motor Torque2","Motor Torque2","0x22b404","(INT16(a:b)-32767)/10",-100,360,"Nm","7E3","","",1"
"MG Motor Speed Actual2b","RPM2b","0x22b403","INT16(c:d)-32767",-1000,10000,"rpm","7E3","","",1"
"MG Motor Torque2b","Motor Torque2b","0x22b404","(INT16(c:d)-32767)/10",-100,360,"Nm","7E3","","",1"

Hi all,

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I have a little question about this.

I've got the files for my MG5 in the right place on my Pixel 6, the Dashboards are in their folder and on the Realtime info screen so are all good to go, but I've put the MG5.csv into the extendedpids folder, but whenever I go to 'Add predefined set', the MG5 does not appear on the list.

Does anyone have an inkling about why this might be the case?

Thanks!
