It looks like a modified car not like it's out fresh from the factory. I prefer the original, especially for the huge amount of time and expense, it also devalues the car on resale as a negative.

That's the idea, just looks a bit different from the norm. Looks great imo. And unless you know about MG4s you wouldn't know that was modified it's that good. Like watching his videos. Folks like him that mod there cars, don't give a Monkeys about time and expense and care even less, about possibly devaluing the car. To be honest don't think it would devalue it.
As it's been done professionally. Of course a lot of folk, like total originality and that's fair enough. But done correctly like this one has, it can look brilliant.
I like me cars to be a bit different, as long as it's done correctly and tastefully.
