Playing Videos through the Infotainment screen ?

On a YouTube video I saw that someone was playing his videos through the MG HS Phev infotainment screen from a USB memory stick plugged into one of the sockets under the flip-up cover below. The video would play vision and sound if stationary, but would go to sound only whenever driving. Anybody know how you do that - as the guy was talking and moving far too fast in his demo for me to catch it all. And I hate ploughing through that Users Manual thing !
 
Just stick a video file in the correct format like MP4 in to a USB stick. Then plug the stick in to the left USB port under the flap. On the infotainment Home Screen the icons along the bottom, scroll right until you see ‘video’. Press it and hopefully should work.
 
Sky explains it very well. I cover some of the video usage in my video and show you how to still get the video to show when you are stuck in traffic.
 
Fermata auto app on android auto let's you play videos whilst driving.

Good for passengers but not if the driver gets distracted.
