Podpoint scheduled charging

Evening all, noticed on the podpoint app you can now do scheduling. Does this work with the mg5 as I tend to get back around 8pm and plug it straight in, although my cheaper rate starts at midnight. Would be useful to know if anyone had tried.
I'll give it a go tomorrow evening if I remember

Works off the charger, with any car. ISTR someone saying it takes up to 15 minutes to update from the app to the charger (over WiFi), so set your time on the app then wait until the Pod Point LED goes Yellow before you plug in.

Ok, I'll see if uk power has got me back onto mains yet. Think they are fixing something so running off a generator which isn't enough to charge the car through point.
