As in the thread title, my P2 is charging to about 70% in the Octopus GO cheap slot overnight, instead of the 100% it did before their latest update.
I've searched lots of different forums, lots of people have the same problem, no-one has a definitive answer, so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone else has fallen victim to Tesla's tinkering. The update apparently uses the Gateways weather prediction to favour charging the battery to a lower percentage if sun is forecast the next day "to assist people with low export rates".
I have (had!) my P2 set up to charge overnight (at 8.5ppkWh) and export all solar (at 15ppkWh) and this has been working fine since Octopus let their GO tariff have 15 p export.
I get so tired of companies tinkering with stuff, just give us a "manual" setting where we can set everything up as we want!
Please don't say, "Net Zero" - you're right, it will do everything I want, but apparently is going to charge about £70 per year from August for the privilege. With only 8 panels, that takes a lot of my solar value out.
