Preordering the ZS Facelift

Evening all,

I've finally got round to watching the last podcast and near the end, @MilesperkWh mentioned some dealers are taking preorders with a refundable deposit.

How many people have done this? I'm very keen to do this.

When I last visited my 2 closest dealers, I asked them to contact me when they knew more as I wanted to place an order ASAP.

I've heard nothing since so found the comment on the podcast interesting.

Just wondering what opinions are?

Btw, I'm in the southwest so guessing Chorley Group may be a bit far away lol

Some will take your deposit and place the order when they are able to.

hi dotnetter, I don’t know why you think Chorley Group might be a bit far away these days most dealers of all makes will deliver a car to any where that is common place now so I would speak with Miles if you want one and place your order over the phone as he said you could.

Some will take your deposit and place the order when they are able to.

This feature gives the dealer a bit of an insight into the demand / number of the cars they are LIKELY to move.
Bit of a "Head's Up" situation !.
A lot of people will be waiting to see the price ( 1st November ) before moving forward I guess.
