or more specifically close to Snozone. I thought I'd try one of my longer 'normal' trips yesterday and have a couple of hours on the slopes. It's around 180 mile round trip, although the 'electric' route is around 160. I arrived a bit early so I decided to hunt out some public chargers, the first the MFG ones on Childs Way were blocked off with police cars and do not cross tape. of the next three one I couldn't find, another was behind 'site closed barriers' and the third was part of the now defunct council bollard type. I did find two operated by Polar but both were in use by council vans. After skiing I used the now vacant Polar, and when I passed it the MFG site was open. What I learnt from the expedition was public charges can be quite hard to spot and at 79p KWh the cost would be about the same as petrol.
