Radio Module initialising

Infotainment system fine but radio module (lhs of the screen) says Radio Module Initialising. Switched infotainment off completely and on, shut down car and restarted. Got one dab station working but it won’t change. Haven’t disconnected the battery yet but never had this problem before either. Anyone got a clue?

Update: disconnected the battery and it worked fine. Would be useful to know a) what caused it, and b) whether there’sa less drastic remedy. Any ideas, anyone?

You can restart it by holding down the home button for 5-10 seconds.

Thanks. Tried that a few times but no difference. Finally, as I say, I disconnected the negative for 30 seconds and that worked. Apparently.

By disconnecting the negative terminal, you are effectively conducting a complete 12 volt reset of everything.
Therefore ALL of the modules in the car with be reset again.

That didn’t work but I undid the negative in the 12v battery and that seemed to work. Recharged overnight…same problem with radio now.
