Radio not on at startup

Every time I get back in the car I have to turn the radio back on at the display. Should it come back on again automatically?

If it is off you only need to flick the right hand silver button upwards, as if you are trying to increase the volume, and it will come on.

Both versions of the ZS EV would play the pre- selected radio station automatically on start up.
Our new MGS5 does not.
You have the radio playing when you shut down the car, the following day, you boot up the car again, there is no music playing ?.
You have press the play button on the head unit or press the right hand button on the steering wheel, then it will play the stored radio station ?.
Strange it has been coded to work this way ?.
