Radio not working & now working again

A very strange one this afternoon. I got in the car to drive home and the radio pushed out static noises on all 3 bands.
I pulled over powered down the car, checked the aerial wasn't loose and restarted it, but with the same result.
The USB music & BT worked fine.

I got home prepared to disconnect the battery & went out to the car after 10 mins or so. I checked the radio & it was fine.

Has anyone had this issue?
The car was new in Jan 25.

What was the display showing on the different radio bands?

Yes. It was as if the aerial was disconnected.
