This is how I fixed my radio and the U Disk Identity failure issue. There are a few threads about this. Disconnect the 12 volt battery for 10 minutes and that should cure it. It worked for mine last week.
I'm having similar problems since I went to Coventry. This is how I fixed my radio and the U Disk Identity failure issue.
Note that you only need to remove the Negative - clamp (mine was coloured blue) on the 12v - you can do that with a small spanner. You dont need to touch the Positive + one.
Battery is easy.I'm having similar problems since I went to Coventry.
Can someone advise where to find the 12v battery?
Also, does the infotainment system require a PIN when it restarts after this process?
First, turn the car on and try holding the home button for 10-15 seconds, that should restrat the screen, see if that makes it work.I'm having similar problems since I went to Coventry.
