Rapid chargers

As I understand it, the MG 5 (which I have) charges at it's fastest on a 80+ kW DC CCS charger.

However, as far as I can make out these are about as common as rocking horse...manure! There seems to be about a dozen 100kW CCS chargers in the entire of the UK.

Is this the case or am I missing something?

Using a 100kw unit is ok but will max out at 80kwh during the charge and drop right off as go above 80%

Not seen an 80kw anywhere but used 100kw happily. You'll see 80kw for a time somewhere in the middle of a charge.

Look for anything above 50kW - there aren’t loads but they are being rolled out. You can use any output charger, car will take what it can even from a 350kW unit.
