rear tint and dashcam

I currently have front and rear dash cams attached with 3M tape in my MG EV
If I get tints on the rear window will the tape stick to the tint, or will it have to be cut around the camera holder attached to the window?

Mine has currently stuck to the windows tint, there doesn’t appear to be any concerns at this time

I don’t have tints but have trouble keeping the rear camera in place. It will hang on for a while then one day I notice it dangling on it’s cable in the mirror. I’ve reattached it with new tape and cleaned it and the screen with alcohol (denatured- not Glenfiddich ;-) ) It’s hung on there for a wee while now so perhaps I’ve won.

If you struggle to get it to stay on this stuff is incredible. I used it to attach my camera to my motorcycle helmet and also on a carcam that just wouldn’t stick.
