Recent owners and MG service plan?

We've had discussion here on whether it is a good thing or not, but I picked mine up on Friday and was told that the official MG service plan is no more, it is gone.

The dealer expected there would be a replacement, either from themselves or from MG.

Anyone else heard this?

I'm not bothered, just curious, as another thread said there was something else they'd discontinued - maybe rubber mats...

Hi, Yes I contacted Frazers of Falkirk and they confirmed that MG Co are not providing service plans. Also I picked my MG5 LR up today and they also confirmed that MG are not providing, decided to look around and see best deals. My dealer is Arnold Clark.
