Hi all, mine was also registered in June 2025, regional NSW but close to Sydney. I notice my media software version ends in R22 which may help to indicate a specific manufacturing batch - when the infotainment issues hit a few weeks back I wasn't affected and noted that most people were on version R25.
@Dig3stor call the MG Roadside number and get them to tow it at their cost. I had to have that done twice with mine.
Since my motor repair was completed in late January I've driven about 3000km and haven't had a recurrence of the issue. I'm about to leave on a road trip to Melbourne which will be a true test for it - half expecting it to kick the bucket again, but I've got my fingers crossed for no issues.
If you're in contact with Timmy at MG, feel free to reference my case number (00007854) so they're aware that it's the exact same issue. If your car is at the dealership, chase up MG Australia directly (1800 MG TEAM) at the same time to push them from both angles. Call and email them daily until you get a resolution.
