Replacement MG4 mats

Hi,

Our car mats have expired after only about 2.5 years, not happy with them, showed significant wear after 1 year.

Can anyone recommend long lasting mats? Not bothered about the style, just want something that will wear well (I know, hard to find in the modern age!).

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I just buy cheap ones and replace them every couple of years, you can get a cheap set for £12 off ebay , which means you can buy half a dozen sets before reaching the price of genuine MG ones.

I use the moulded 3D-printed plastic mats from evfloormats in winter, and change them for the carpet ones in summer. The driver's carpet mat, the only one that gets significant wear, isn't in the greatest shape mind you.

There's another thread here with a link to some excellent quality carpet mats, shouldn't be hard to find it.

Thanks - just ordered on your recommendation. Ours (taken from previous Seat Ibiza) have worn through under the driver heel.

I bought Tesla 3 mats for my MG4 as they looked like they might fit and yes fitted awesome even the rear one, they were on sale in super cheap Australia .
Great quality thick and cut in all the right places even drivers foot rest.

For any other aussies looking for replacements, I have always been happy with the stuff Rubber Tree sells ( Tailored Car & Vehicle Accessories | RubberTree ). Have had their car mats in the RCZ for many years now, they are great quality and long wearing in my experience.

Sadly my drivers one has worn thru a hole aftet 3 years but they're so cheap its not a bad idea to replace them after that period. Or even just the drivers, I don't do a particular high mileage.

Got the car mats ones. About £30 and fit perfectly. Got the extra pad on the drivers side in the hope that this extends the life. Hope they put it in the right place!
