Restarting the radio

I have a 2025 zs EV and unlike any other car I have owned, every time you start the car you have to restart the radio. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing. I know it's not particularly important, just annoying.

It’s a lot of “hit or miss” really @LeedsLoiner .
Sometimes the radio will automatically just start playing the station you had selected from your previous trip and other times, it just sits there displaying the “pause” button on the screen and you have to hit the “play” button.
We now have the MGS5 and it’s the same, sometimes the radio plays when you boot up the car, but most times you have to press the “play” button on the steering wheel to get any music.

My 24 ZS had the original R16 software and always started with the last station on, which, like you, I wanted it to do.

I recently had an update to cure other problems to R23 and it now mostly requires me to start it, as lovemyev has said.

Also, sometimes I can start it using the pause on the steering wheel but others this doesn't work and I have to push the play on the screen.

Very annoying!
